WELCOME TO MY SITE!!!

Some may feel that romance or fiction writing isn’t necessarily “serious” writing. I beg to differ. Telling a story is an art form that not many can master. People like Toni Morrison, John Gresham, and Maya Angelou didn’t just wake up knowing how to write. It took work, sacrifice and dedication. Each day I strive to put forth that same dedication so that one day I can inspire an up and coming writer just as those writers inspired me.

I chose to write fiction because that’s what’s in my heart. However, never let it be said that Rhonda M. Lawson wrote herself into a box. The art of words can be used in many different ways and it would be a shame if we limited ourselves to just one. As communicators, we must expose ourselves to different types of writing in order to reach a larger audience.
